Dr. Markos has over 30 years of experience providing dental care. She began her career as a hygienist in Tampa, Florida, and 2 years later moved to New York City. For the next 8 years, she worked as a hygienist, while completing her undergraduate degree at Hunter College in psychology, and then continued on to Columbia University Dental School.
